主讲人简介：TeoChung Piaw(张俊标)教授现任新加坡国立大学商学院决策科学系“教务长”讲座教授。1990年毕业于新加坡国立大学数学系，1996年毕业于美国麻省理工学院，获得运筹学博士学位。主要研究领域为运营、分析和最优化交叉科学。现任国际运筹学领域顶级杂志Operations Research 的Operations and SupplyChains 领域主编，管理科学领域顶级杂志Management Science的副主编。美国运筹学与管理科学研究协会（Institute for Operations Research and the Management Science，简称INFORMS）院士。

讲座摘要: Real-time supply chain visibility, powered by IoT sensors and advanced analytics, has become a cornerstone of modern SCM. This capability provides companies with instantaneous insights into their operations, enabling proactive responses to disruptions, improved customer satisfaction, and reduced operational costs. The value of such visibility lies in its ability to transform reactive supply chains into agile, predictive systems that align with dynamic global demands. To capitalize on these advances, organizations must embrace a synergistic approach, integrating technology and OR methodologies into their supply chain strategies. This involves fostering data-driven cultures, investing in scalable digital infrastructure, and adopting iterative, adaptive optimization techniques. By doing so, companies can not only address today’s challenges but also unlock new opportunities for innovation, resilience, and sustainable growth in their supply chains. This presentation highlights some of these developments and offers insights into how emerging technologies and OR tools can jointly drive the next wave of efficiency and agility in supply chain management.
